The Met Celebrates Pride
Though our stage may be temporarily dark, we’re still committed to celebrating our LGBTQ artists, administrators, and audience members—including by illuminating the façade of the opera house each night during Pride Month. Last year, opera stars Stephanie Blythe and Anthony Roth Costanzo joined more than 100 Met employees to participate in the NYC Pride March for the first time. While the ongoing health crisis has forced the city to cancel this year’s official festivities, we’re excited to share some virtual Pride celebrations with you below.Happy Pride!
